To strengthen its finance team we are looking for a Financial Accountant

Aufgaben:

•Preparation of monthly financial results •Preparation of the year end results and managing the day – to – day relationship with the auditors during this process •Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts •Leading the forecasting and budgeting process for the corporate entities •General ledger accounting, inter-company transactions, expense processing, cash and bank •Responsible for the preparation, obtaining approval and processing of all payments •Lead on the development and upgrade of the corporate SAP environment •Payroll accounting and the completion of VAT returns •Maintaining the internal control system •Leading the accounting team •Undertake project work as required

Kandidatenprofil:

•Bachelor Degree in Finance or Economy •3-5 years professional experience of accounting in an international environment •Working knowledge of IFRS and Swiss GAAP (OR) •Good systems skills, in particular SAP and Hyperion Financial Management, and experience of developing processes •Fluency in English required. Any other language, in particular German, would be an asset •Good communication skills as well as an ability to work cross-culturally with top management and their advisors •An ability to exercise effective judgement within constrained timescales •Remains confident and calm in pressurised circumstances •Works well as an integral part of a team, but also can work independently when required. •Sets high professional standards for self and others
